In the final sermon for the year, Pst Andre led us to reflect on 2020, and how, despite the shaking and change, we have seen God’s hand at work in our lives and community and how we have much to be grateful for.
As we look ahead to the new year, he encouraged us to consider our calling as the people of God, and what it means to be salt and light in our world: to be recognised as distinct, different, provocative and potent. This necessitates a continual reorientation of our lives as Christians, and desiring to devote our lives into a whole-hearted pursuit of God.
We pray that you were inspired and challenged by the word. As we get ready to step into 2021, may we continually reflect, realign and respond to God’s call, and make it the year that we devote our lives to pursuing God whole heartedly.
