In week 1 of our Lenten series, Christ Our Example, Ps. Janice brought us a word on The Call to Follow. When we make the decision to claim Jesus as lord & saviour of our lives, we are also deciding to die to ourselves, living a new life in Christ, taking up our cross and following Him. And in Jesus - our way, our truth and life - we have the perfect example to imitate, by following him in not just our actions, but also our thoughts and attitudes, which draw us closer to Him and Him to us.
In this season, let us spend some time to ponder in what it means to follow Christ, and have a conversation with Jesus on how He’s calling us to follow Him.
