Ps. Janice shared a message this morning on Trusting and Rebuilding. Taking reference from various passages of scripture, she highlighted how the righteous in the bible are reckoned as such because of their trust in the Lord, and are often referred to as strong trees planted by streams of water that flourish. She encouraged us to once again set our trust in God and His will, recognising that He is the true source of all joy and peace, the enabler that can exchange our ashes for beauty, and our mourning for gladness. Let us continue to fix our focus on God, trusting Him and be sensitive to what He’s telling us to rebuild and repair in our lives.
