Tim continued our sermon series, Let Them Hear, with a study on Jesus’ letter to the Church of Smyrna, a vision of a spiritually mature community that chose poverty, even death, to follow Jesus. May our response be to strengthen each other in God through prayer, and bear each others burdens as a community. In our individual lives, may we prayerfully examine our lifestyles, decisions and relationships for areas that we can deepen our devotion, express our faith, and ultimately, desire to live lives of consequence for Jesus.
