Our identity is deeply connected to what we believe gives our life meaning and significance. When we fall short of our ideal selves that we aspire to live up to, we feel guilt and shame. Yet, we can find hope in our God given identity through the gift of salvation we receive through Christ.
As the One who fashioned humanity, God alone holds the key to our true identity and purpose. Without the light of His revelation, we are left stumbling through the darkness of confusion, unsure of who we are or why we exist.
We can take heart in knowing that God has chosen and redeemed us - an irrefutable truth no matter the circumstances we find ourselves in.
