Pst Peh Han continued our sermon series with a sharing on how we are Immeasurably Filled to live a spirit-filled life. This influences the dynamics of our relationships, especially in the household when we relate to our spouses, parents and children.
Christ’s love for the church is to be our model of authority - lordship that is expressed in meekness and self-sacrificial humility. Likewise, we are to adopt the model of honour that serves with sincerity of heart and goodwill when we submit to others in authority.
As we reflect on the word, let it be our prayer that God transforms us and shapes us to be the spirit-filled community He has intended, that we will be able to submit to each other in the fear of the Lord.
