In week 2 of our Vision Series, Ps. Andre shared his heart for The City to have a missional unity which transcends personal preference, affinity, and cultural similarities, and binds the church together for the shared purpose of advancing the gospel. He talked about how missional unity can be expressed through being a category-defying community, one that guards against division, and captures a shared mission.
In a world that teaches us to narrow our circle - to align ourselves with people who think like us, act like us, live like us and benefit us, may we be the church that does the opposite: widen the circle to welcome those whom the world would never put together.
