In our first ever episode of "Inside Our City", we invited Ps Janice Chern to share a bit about her life and thoughts.
Ps Janice first visited us at our Christmas Service in 2018 with her husband Matthew & their two kids. She later joined us as our pastor of spiritual formation, and now also oversees our lifegroups.
Ps Janice grew up in Kota Kinabalu. After 8 years of pastoral ministry there, she moved to pursue MA in Intercultural Studies at Fuller seminary then went on to lead a bilingual congregation and a young adults ministry.
Besides having a keen interest in foliage plants, solo hiking, reflective conversations and library ASMR, she is passionate about following Jesus wholeheartedly and helping people discover their purpose through scripture and small groups.
