We listen to brief clip of her stating why she took that stances that she took and then we talk with Singer-Songwriter Extraordinaire, Drea D'Nur. She's received national and international acclaim for her work. Drea is the writer and producer behind the stage production "The Spirit of Nina" which honors the legendary late great Nina Simone. We talk with Drea about mainstream and underground music, how she uses her platform to reach people, and how she describes how her music.
Drea also gives us a small preview of her soulful voice in a short rendition of "A Change Is Gonna Come" by Sam Cooke.
