Description

In this episode we begin by recounting the passing of two giants of Chicagoland's Muslim Community (Br. Abdul Hameed Dogar & Dr. Zia Hassan) and talk about some of their many contributions to helping to establish Islamic Foundation of Villa Park (IL). In the second half we listen to controversial remarks made by White House Chief of Staff (General) John Kelly on the Civil War and some notable figures in U.S. History. We closed out the show reminding the audience of the importance of having a voice that takes the Muslim perspective, in all its complexities and diversity, into mind when processing national events and history.
