In this 5th Episode of Radio Islam's Friday Artist Profile, we discuss the impact of artist on bringing awareness to sensitive topics. We look at performances by Chicago based comedian Azhar Usman who takes on stereotypes and Islamophobia; Boona Muhammad who gives a message of intentionally engaging people (no matter who they are) with love and mindfulness that we are all children of Adam (on him be peace); and we also hear from Emi Mahmoud who gives a stirring spoken word poem that addresses the unimaginable pain and effects of war.
