The Honorble Elijah Muhammad was one America's most polarizing figures in modern United States history. Author, Imam, and Radio Host Mikal Saahir joins us to talk about his book "The Honorable Elijah Muhammad: The Man Behind The Men" which examines his impact on the formation of four internationally lauded African American Muslims-- Imam Warith Deen Mohammed, Malcolm X, Minister Louis Farrakhan, and Muhammad Ali.
In the second half of the show Imam Saahir talks to us about the two decades of interfaith dialog engaged in between the community of Imam Warith Deen Mohammed and the Focoloare movement, founded by the late Sister Chiara Lubich.
