We talk with Boubacar Messaoud, founder of SOS Esclaves--an Anti-slavery organization helping people escape slavery in Mauritania and Bakary Tandia (co-founder of Abolition Institute-Chi/Nyc) about the fight to end slavery in Mauritania. In the second half Tariq gives a little more context as to how slavery has persisted despite the passage of laws abolishing it.
