EA Review: Trisicloplox - Forked Tongue EP [SMD045]
The title track “Forked Tongue” starts the EP off with an enveloping feeling of panic, and heavy ripping noises brush back and forth against the listener. The tune then drops into a welterweight of bass & crunchy distorted riffs. A steady trudge of heavy sludge for your imagination to unleash. As we continue into “I Dwell Not As A Stranger”, darkness has truly taken hold, and piercing noises start our descent into madness. Thumping kicks that feel like war drums take control as more fluttering noise and percussion rides atop the wicked rhythm. Synthetic sine and square waves are amassed together to create a wall of chaos inside an abandoned dark forest.
The blackness rifts on as it continues to change and corrupt everything it can reach, and what point would there be to stop it?
