SPEEDCOMP 30 + FIEND + TRACKER SPECIAL PART 25
Speedcomp is a pointless online competition to make a song in half an hour, limiting yourself to ten previously unheard samples (and no other sounds). The samples are selected by a different person each round - FIEND selected for this round.
Use whatever software or hardware you like. Don’t use VSTIs and the like. The aim of Speedcomp is to do something interesting using the samples provided in a limited time, and not to transform them into something totally unrecognisable. Maximum track length is five minutes. There are no winners.
The sample pack for SpeedComp 30 was posted onto the Event Page at 7:30pm the night before Thematics Radio and all entries were played on the show. Thanks to everyone for playing along. Three late entries were pasted into the recording.
