What is your primary focus, the principal thing, your biggest priority in life? What takes your time, your energy, and discipline to accomplish? Is it working for the things of this world: food, money, clothes, shelter? The politicians can promise you that! Or is it the "one thing" Jesus commended Mary for: receiving Jesus AND hearing the Word of God to obey it? Identify your priorities! Don't allow yourself to lose the purpose for which God has created you, or let it be distorted, diverted, or perverted. Are you really trusting God, having Him in your life and agreeing with His Word, or still hoping to win the lottery so you won't have to depend on Him daily? Worries and cares won't cause you stress and health problems when you realize your needs are provided for from heaven's store. When God's kingdom becomes your most valuable possession and sought-after first priority, you will be filled! Your joy will overflow! The Word and the Spirit of God will be enough to fill the treasury of your heart, mind, and life.
