Description

Cardinal Vincent Nichols spoke to us just a few moments ago about the Family Synod in Rome. The Cardinal looks back on a busy first week and talks about the small group discussions and the progress made. The broad agreements were that the Synod's opening documents were too negative in terms of an appreciation of family situations as well as being too Europe focused.

As Cardinal Nichols looks ahead to the second week, he talks about the language of the Church and believes the pathway forward is becoming clearer.
