Today, 18 June, Cardinal Nichols launched Pope Francis’ first Encyclical Laudato si' at Our Lady and St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Poplar, East London. The school lies in the shadow of Canary Wharf with its many banks and corporations.
The Cardinal spoke about the Encyclical, that looks at human ecology and the environment, alongside Fr Augusto Zampini, a moral theologian from Argentina and adviser to Catholic aid and development charity CAFOD.
