Description

In October 2018 Catholic Bishops from around the world will meet in Rome to focus on how the church helps, guides and accompanies young people as they grow in faith and discern the part they can play in shaping the future of the Church.

Earlier this year, Isaac Withers represented young Catholics from England and Wales at what was called a Pre-Synod meeting - a gathering of 300 young people from around the world.

The group met in Rome in March 2018 to 'share prophetic dreams', as Pope Francis would say, to help guide and inform the main Bishops' Synod meeting later in the year.

The Pope offered a listening ear to consider and appreciate the views of the world's youth to improve how the Church accompanies young people.

Listen to Isaac Withers as he discusses the pre-Synod meeting and looks ahead to the near month-long Bishops' Synod in October.
