We were walking along a trail that was embedded in a ranch-typesetting, The natural ambience exuded a sense of peace, simplicity, and comfort. A wooden split-rail fence on our right perimeter was defining a corral that was storing assorted and stacked building materials characteristic of the basic style of construction.
Our group was a mixed bunch… older, younger, taller, shorter, male, and female. I stopped and the entourage halted with me. I looked just ahead and to the left and there was a rectangular building that had the word "NEXT" in big letters on its long side. We had arrived at THE PLACE OF NEXT. And the Spirit spoke: "PREPARE TO ENTER INTO NEXT."
The KJV Dictionary defines NEXT as the "nearest in place; nothing in between it and anything else. Next is the place that is immediately preceding in order." NEXT is also nearest in TIME, as the next day or hour. Next is also nearest in degree, quality rank, or relation.
Family of God, we are moving into the new realm of Glory, promise and fellowship that we have been anticipating. THE PLACE, TIME, AND DEGREE for us and our ministry is NEXT!
