GET PREPARED TO COME OUT!
Who would have dared to think that the incomparably advanced braintrust of 21st-humanity could come up with no better response to combat a minuscule virus invading planet Earth than to hide in your house! The prophet Isaiah must have seen something like this 2700 years before Christ when he forewarned:
“Go into your houses, my people, and lock your door behind you; hide for just a moment until the wrath has passed.” (Isaiah 26:20)
Doors are beginning to crack open, and people are getting ready to venture out; not because the enemy is gone, but because the capacity to tolerate the consequences of being locked up much longer are worse than the virus itself.
And the expectations we are told to have is that this virus will not relent, even if it might lay dormant for a season, but that it will return, maybe even stronger!
But what is the Lord saying? Is there an answer you can trust and find peace in?
