2/9/20 Sunday Service, Pastor Frank Amedia
Father Abraham directed Eliezer to go to the exotic land of his family and claim his son Isaac's wife, who would become the matriarch of the Covenant. This is when we witness a surreal exchange in the conversation between patriarch Abraham and his number one administrator, Eliezer. To the unbelieving pragmatist, this discourse is bizarre, weird, even freakish.

A: "Go to my country and to my kindred and take a wife for my son Isaac."
E: "What if the woman will not be willing to cooperate?"
A: "The Lord, the God of heaven, who took me from my father's house and from the land of my kindred, and who spoke to me and swore to me, 'To your offspring I will give this land,’ He will send His angel before you, and you shall take a wife for my son from there.'

Abe's buzz words: heaven, spoke to me, swore to me, covenant, angel ... A was speaking a different language in the Spirit than Eliezer.

How did Abraham come to the place of faith and revelation in his life to see in the spiritual realm and declare destiny with absolute faith? And why was Eliezer, who was immersed in His master's faith for decades, still struggling with his pragmatic consciousness that was restricting him from believing?

"Who's report will you believe? " (Isaiah 53;1)
