For this première edition of Apocalypse Bunker Discs, my Lockaway is Johnny Vercoutre, a jazz and vintage car enthusiast and former proprietor of Time For Tea, a tea room-cum-time capsule which attracted a cult clientèle and much intrigue in Shoreditch, East London.
Featuring Johnny Dankworth, Delia Derbyshire, Black Box Recorder and stories of a rubber clad alter ego, cantankerous idols and his Jaguar 'Grace'.
