Pastor Andy Cass

Join us on a transformative journey through Peter's story—a bold yet imperfect disciple who reminds us that failure is not the end but a moment for faith to grow. In this episode, explore Peter's denial of Jesus, the power of confession, and how our God-given "accent" speaks louder than our fears when shaped by truth and healing.

TEXT: Matthew 26:69-75, John 13:36-38, James 5:16, Proverbs 28:13, 2 Corinthians 5:17.

NOTES:
Confession Has Two Sides:
01. What is true? Agreeing with God about reality, without defending yourself with lies or half-truths.

02. What is my responsibility? Taking ownership of your actions and making necessary changes. Example: Letting go of shame and regret, while committing to live in truth and pursue righteousness.

BIG IDEA- The world needs to hear our God-given accent—shaped and refined by the raw, honest cries of our confession.

“Fear had gripped Peter and led him to denial. Now he’s on the road of regret and rejection.”

“If you want a breakthrough in your faith, you’ve got to get to the point where you are brutally honest with yourself and cry it out.”

“Confession is a core issue—unless it’s dealt with, it will bleed through.”

“Peter, in his regret, may have been there for a moment—but he didn’t stay there. God doesn’t want you to stay there either. He wants to set you free.”

“Let go of your shame, let go of your regret, and remember Jesus is building your faith from the ground up.”
