The 1999-2000 season wasn't supposed to be anything magical for Central Florida's hometown team. With an unproven roster and a rookie head coach in Doc Rivers, more questions existed than answers...Fast forward 82 games and the Magic surprised the league by going 41-41, narrowly missing the playoffs and earning Doc Rivers Coach of the Year honors.
