Description

This song idea was inspired by a conversation with a older man that lived in Oliver springs TN. We had many conversation about God, Heaven and Hell and death and what it will be like for people after death both believers and none believers. We agreed on one thing all people die. And we remain friends even though we disagreed on so many levels. However he was from a generation that new how to respect others points of view. I'm sure he could talk to anyone and you would think you'd been friend forever. This song address memory of our life after death The song Idea was Recorded live in home studio in early 2000 s by our band. With Andrew Thomas on the drums and Myself on Electric . We had a great time recording that summer but this recording was just recently found when we cleaned out the basement after a flood. According to Scripture records of what is done by people on earth, both nonbelievers (Rev. 20:11-13) and believers are archived by God in heaven. (2 Cor. 5:10).Memory is a basic element of personality. We are not different people, but the same people marvelously relocated and transformed. Salvation through Gods Son cleanses our slate of sin and error in our relationship with God and our neighbor, but does not erase it. The lessons we learned here about mercy, grace and justice surely are not lost, but carry over to Heaven. They are built upon and greatly expanded, yes, but not eliminated. (1 Cor. 3:14). At death we are relocated, by the hands of angels (Psalms 91) but this does not relegate our earthly lives to insignificance. There will be ongoing remembrance of our lives on earth . It’s a clear teaching of Scripture.
