MEET THE MAN WHO STARTED UTAH’S MAGIC MUSHROOM CHURCH
He grew up LDS and was a conservative Republican state legislator for 16 years. Steve Urquhart is perhaps the most unlikely person to start The Divine Assembly Church which uses psychedelic mushrooms as a sacrament. He claims he found inner peace and the mushrooms helped him deal with past trauma. In this edition of Odyssey House Journals we asked him if magic mushrooms could be used to treat addiction.
