This is my tribute to the LEGENDARY Strictly Jaz Unit crew from Chicago, IL. Glenn Underground, Boo Williams & Tim Harper. I grew up buying their records, and heard them Dj in Dallas many times. The vibe, the musicality, the message is really second to none in my opinion. They defined the sound of deep house for me back in the 90s, and in many ways still do. Some of the mixes here are a little rough. But many of these records are admittedly hard for me to mix. Most of them are so lush with pads, keyboard and guitar solos that I just let them play almost all the way through. I hope you enjoy it.
