Ep. 43 - Irist. On this episode I talk with Pablo Davila, guitarist. Irist formed in Atlanta, GA in 2015. They released their debut album ‘Order of the Mind’ on March 27th 2020 on Nuclear Blast Records. I first heard of Irist from a podcast interview with Monte Conner who signed them to Nuclear Blast Records. Monte Conner is well known for signing bands like Slipknot, Sepultura, Soulfly, Machine Head, Fear Factory, Type O Negative, Trivium, Gojira, and now IRIST. Pablo and I talk about his background, forming Irist, the album, and what Irist has been up to. I was completely blown away when Pablo responded to me since Irist is one of my favorite bands to come out the past few years. I hope you enjoy this episode.
