My way led me to the Feldenkrais Method during my music studies in Lübeck in the 90s. Fascinated by the effect of merely directing my attention to me, with the result of more contentment and inner peace, I trained as a Feldenkrais teacher. During those four years from 1999 to 2003, I discovered that Moshe Feldenkrais, after whom the method was named, was also able to help many people with serious health problems. So it was natural for me to gain admission as a naturopath in 2014 after an intensive learning phase and an exam. In August of the same year I began working on my application as an assistant trainer for the Feldenkrais Method.
Since 2012 I already accompany Feldenkrais training in Madrid and was able to gain a lot of experience. I want into a process in which I dealt with the method in depth theoretical and written form. This work consisted of case descriptions, presentation of lesson planning and preparation of my training and the presentation of my motivation of wanting to be a certified Feldenkrais Assistant Trainer. I was awarded my certification by the German Feldenkrais Association on the 16.June in 2017. Since then I assist regularly in Feldenkrais training. In addition to my native tongue German, I also speak English and Spanish.
Over the years, I was repeatedly asked if I could recommend something specifically to facilitate restful sleep. The topic of mindfulness and silence has always been a focus in my music classes for children and parents. In my work as a piano teacher, too, calm, concentration and turning to musical expression is a process that would not be possible without inner silence. In the Sounder Sleep System I found a good mix of exercises and simplicity. Helping my decision to make it part of my praxis in 2009 when I got certifies as a Sounder Sleep Senior Trainer.
