Rinata Barsukova (Renata Yambaeva) started her adult life as a zoologist after graduating a biological faculty of the Moscow State University. Even becoming later a business journalist and an editor in different magazines and newspapers she based her work and skills on this scientific background. In parallel with the main job she was always interested in dancing, tried a lot of paths and finally grounded in dance meditation and movement practices like 5Rythms, OpenFloor, FreedomDance and everything around. That was the time she encountered movement reeducation technics including Feldenkrais Method. Her own movement problems and pain as well as desire to help others who couldn't dance because of the same difficulties paved the way to take on professional Feldenkrais training program. She is now in the fourth year of Madrid 4 training (Instituto Feldenkrais) in Spain. She started her own practice in the beginning of 2019 and since than has been teaching weekly two o three ATM classes (online and offline) and occasional workshops, participating in conferences and cross-platform events, trying to make Feldenkrais Method known and appreciated in Russia. She also still works as a deputy editor in chief of one of the biggest russian business newspapers (that's the reason for double name - the second one is writing name).
