Marking the winter solstice Darkfloor Sound once again presents their annual compilation, raising money for the National Autistic Society. We continue what we began in 2015 and resurrected last year with a double EP release (find them all on our Bandcamp).
Our Winter Solstice compilation welcomes new artists to the Darkfloor Sound record label who bring with them a diverse range of lush to dark sonics.
For our 2020 edition we present artists from Japan, America, Australia, Ireland and the UK. Go Hiyama, Yuri Urano, Dodssang Tempel, Warcrimes, subduxtion, Hedchef, Sunken Foal, Si Begg, Herd, and Khost feat. Stephen Mallinder. Their music packs beautiful drone, field recordings and noise, to slamming maximal electro, downbeaten electro steppers, broken industrial, dub techno, and intense claustrophobic drum work.
All monies raised from the sale of this release will be donated to UK charity, the National Autistic Society.
