WELCOME & ANNOUNCEMENTS
BREAKTHROUGH PRAYER: Amazing God, We pray that through the Holy Spirit Your preferred future for Groveport United Methodist Church will be made clear to us. Give us the courage we need to follow You wherever You may take us. We ask that You bind us together in love so that we can bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to our friends, families, and community. Open our eyes so that we may see the amazing things You are already doing among us. AMEN.

CALL TO WORSHIP:
L: God calls us to love one another.
P: Yet love does not always come easy to us.
L: At times fear gets in the way of love.
P: We fear a great many things.
L: We fear being hurt by others.
P: We fear hurting others with our words, actions, and indifference.
L: We fear the motivations of others.
P: At times we question our own motivations.
L: We fear losing position, power, and prestige.
P: Yet with Christ, we know that we need not fear. For he is strong where we are weak! Praise be to God!
HYMN “Open Our Eyes, Lord”
MORNING PRAYER:
L: God created us and placed us on the earth to be stewards of all living things, therefore let us proclaim the glory of our Creator, saying:
P: O God, how wonderful are the works of your hands.
L:Blessed are you, O Lord of the Universe; you create the animals and give us the ability to train them to help us in our work.
P: O God, how wonderful are the works of your hands.
L: Blessed are you, O Lord of the Universe; you give us food from animals to replenish our energies.
P: O God, how wonderful are the works of your hands.
L: Blessed are you, O Lord of the Universe; for the sake of our comfort you give us domestic animals as companions.
P: O God, how wonderful are the works of your hands.
L: Blessed are you, O Lord of the Universe; you care for us even as you care for the birds of the air.
P: O God, how wonderful are the works of your hands.
L: Blessed are you, O Lord of the Universe; you offered your Son to us as the passover lamb and in him willed that we should be called your children.
P: O God, how wonderful are the works of your hands. Amen.
