Five years ago on October 29th, 2012, Hurricane Sandy, commonly called Superstorm Sandy, swept in and devastated many coastal communities all along the coast from Maryland to Massachusetts. In the next couple of episodes we will feature conversations with some of the emergency managers who were key players in the response to this disaster event, and we will talk about what happened, what worked, and the lessons learned, as well as the work that remains to improve the resilience of our communities and country.
