Guitos Live is one of the main percussionists in Portugal. Awarded several times as “Best Portuguese Live Act”, Guitos plays regularly across Portugal and in countries like Spain, England, Germany, Angola, Mozambique, and Qatar, where he had a monthly residency at one of the best clubs in Doha, Manko Loko.
He’s an exceptional percussionist, his live acts are full of energy and interaction with the crowd, and he’s one of the main Portuguese references regarding club percussionists, playing a lot live with Carlos Manaca, but he also regularly plays with bands and singers in Portugal.
For his first single, Guitos Live presents an ethnic journey using his favourite instrument, the “bongos”.
Carlos Manaça delivers an Afro House electronic version using some of the original elements, but with his typical groove.
