On the 51st edition of our blogcast, we proudly present the Tunisian duo, Anemoia.
Squarely at the forefront of Anemoia’s music is an intoxicating ensemble of tracks that span an expansive global footprint. The duo, comprising of Space Knight and Nighthawk, has a distinctive palette for mixing a mélange of “East meets West” music. This in turn strengthens their stance as captains of the sonic seas of sublime sounds. Their harmonious collaborations are a warm mixture of disparate musical gestalts fused wonderfully into the fabric of their musical weave.

Who are Anemoia?
Anemoia is a neologism meaning a nostalgia for times you've never known…… Like listening to a song for the first time that evokes a sense of knowing deep within. You linger in the mysterious and transcendent moment, so clear and perfect like still waters, you can see yourself reflected.
Both established DJ’s in their own right & respectively natives of Tunisia & Morroco; Houssem Hamzaoui & Hichem Chlayah, 2 kindred spirits joined forces to create the dynamic duo “Anemoia”. Both artists developed a passion for electronic music from an early age forging their talents in DJ platforms throughout Tunisia where they are based. This promising young duo aspire to share their message through music and their ability to create and express profound sentiments with captivating, hypnotic melodies and penetrating haunting emotions drawn from inspiration of their surroundings. Their trademark sound encapsulates their oriental influences combined with a fusion of different genres of music. Destined for exciting things on the horizon…watch out for this spellbinding duo.
