On the 55th edition of our blogcast, we proudly present Dubai-based artist and label owner, Hoolz.
Subversive baselines on the sides, weird samples here and there, with a touch of jazz & funk. Hoolz cooked us a very special hour out of his personal record collection, leaving us craving for more. These baselines are nothing more than the best fertilizer for his signature tech house, carefully grown at the right bpm to wake up your voracious hunger for dancing. Who is Hoolz?
Its quite simple really, tried going about life with music being on the sidelines for the first couple of decades due to an upbringing in a society that doesn't promote professional dedication to a life in music or anything of the sort, that didn't sound like a sustainable approach. Since then, its been full time on gigs, studio time, music consulting, and running one of Dubai's party brands under the @itsdeeplike umbrella. You can hear how its been going here and there :)
