In Episode 18 of the podcast I discuss how our health is a lot of the time being compromised even though its normally in the top 2 answers when people are asked what they want to be in life. Are we making the right decisions each day to give our health the best chance to be optimal and to live a life without the onset of disease they we could avoid due to our lifestyle.
I talk about my own life where i picked up a serious injury by neglecting my own recovery to an extent and working too much.
I go onto discuss the importance of adding recovery and relaxation into our day like you would book in a dentists appointment, we need to slot in a time to recover not just after the work day is completed but during the work day and tap into the "Principle of Oscillation" where we go from periods of energy expenditure on a task and then energy recovery. This is essential in order for you to have the energy to interact with your partner/children etc when you get home instead of crashing out on the couch exhausted.
