Eeshani developed a biosensor based POC device for chronic kidney diseases with which she received the First Place Student Choice Award at the 2019 Sigma Xi Student Research Conference, also First Place in Engineering and Induction in 2018!
She is not only a star in the STEM fields but on the stage as well. 🎤Eeshani in the American Protégé International Vocal Competition was selected to perform solo at Carnegie Hall in December 2019. Eeshani is in the ISEF squad as well, a 2019-2020 registered finalist and winner of Drexel University’s Full tuition scholarship. Her research project is on developing a biosensor that can detect platelet hyperaggregation in cardiovascular disease. ❣️
She became a winner of Youth in Action, being VP of Palm Beach County Behavioral Health Coalition’s Teen Coalition. The organization is dedicated to preventing underage substance use through education and promoting self-advocacy. Eeshani is also President of Tri M Music Honor Society and an accomplished woman in science, so get ready, because the content we discussed is going to be music to your ears! 😉
