God’s children are called to live lives of blessing to those around us. Peter gives us instructions – such as “have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind” – that can be easy for us to agree with, but we will spend our lifetimes perfecting them. Our good lives, empowered by the Holy Spirit, provide a platform for witness in the same way that miracles do in other settings. God has given us all we need for life and godliness.
