Persecution shouldn’t come as a surprise to Christians – we should expect it. But there is a way to handle it, and it involves fixing our eyes on Jesus and radically blessing those who persecute us! Christians are called to be just like Jesus, loving our enemies and praying for those who persecute us or show us hostility. We are to show love to those around us regardless of how they treat us, asking God to bless those who would want to do us harm.
