Does new technology mean progress? Also streaming sucks
We’re back! In today’s episode we talk about technology. Ok so that’s a broad subject. So what about technology? Is it good? Is it bad? Who knows?! Ok so for real, the answer is a bit more complicated than a binary response. But new tech is frequently presented to us as though it’s super great, there will be no problems ever again. Well, I disagree with that position a tinsy bit. We get into a couple of examples such as Apple not replacing their lightning port on iPhones, old school telephones, automation and a couple of other small tangents.
Still on the theme of technology, we talk about streaming services specifically and boy do I got a lot of problems with streaming. Everyone is coming out with their own streaming platform, it’s going to become a mess. Pretty soon I’m gonna launch one! So does this mean we’re better off than the cable packages we had before? I’m not so sure about that…
