We revisit the top Waterloo stories of 2021. Concerns about the Omicron variant have prompted some operational changes at the University, including canceling end-of-year gatherings and in-person meetings. When the new term begins, teaching and learning will be online, with some exceptions. December 23 is the last working day of 2021 for most employees.
