In December 2017 I collaborated with Adelmo Silva on “I Gotta Getta. I sent him vocal and rhythm guitar tracks, and Adelmo took it from there. I promised at the time to post the original song “in a week or so”. Well, it's been a long long week.
The rhythm guitar and lead vocal tracks are the ones I sent to Adelmo … all the rest has been added since.
This song is about being human - there are days when you wake up thinking you have missed out on life, and worse, that is is your own fault!. Part-and-parcel with this realization are deeply held, if unrealistic, ambitions, and a largely illusory view of what life has to offer.
