I composed this fugue some years ago partly as an investigation into the properties of the 9:8 meter, and partly to check out some of the tools available for writing digital music.
There are no vocals, the instruments are all synthesized and the instrumental parts are all largely constructed rather than played … the idea being to concentrate on composition rather than instrumental technique.
It was my first real foray into synthesized sound, hence the title.
