Welcome to episode 55 [originally broadcast on Wednesday 7 July 2021] of #mhTV. This week Nicky Lambert spoke with guest Mushtag Kahin about nursing associates.

Mushtag is a recent registered Nursing Associate working in the mental health sector for the past 5 years. Prior she worked in maternity settings, general hospitals, community, FGM support clinic, palliative care charity and GP.
Her interests are mental health nursing, equity and equality in healthcare leadership, transcultural mental health, anti-racism recruitment practices, cultural sensitive approaches and inclusion.
She has recently joined to work in CAMHS adolescence unit. Mushtag is a Health Education England Nursing Associate Ambassador, member of Hexitime, Sharedin and Somali Nursing & Midwifery Group UK whilst also being part of The Nurses of Colour Network (Nurses United).
