In this episode we continued our discussion with Lucy about child development— very specifically, the importance of risky play, messy play, and outdoor play! I know I often want to keep my kids in a bubble whether it’s because I don’t want them to get hurt or I don’t want to clean up the inevitable mess that comes with allowing our children to explore. I’ve got to stop that and LET THEM DO THEIR WORK as children!
