Whether it’s snakes, spiders, puppets, or creepy kids, what scares a person is highly subjective. The same thing goes for which films that person finds scary. A movie that might have freaked you out as a child may not bother you at all as an adult. A flick that you still find horrifying may be laughable to someone else; it’s intensely subjective and that’s part of the fun. With All Hallows’ Eve just around the corner Jack and Bob have each chosen a film that scared them upon first viewing: Bernard Rose’s Candyman and William Friedkin’s The Exorcist. Join them as they tell the tales of the first time they watched them and discuss what it means to be truly scared by a film. Enjoy!
