For our 68th release we take a break with Innovatus, our summer progressive breaks sampler, with music from our regulars,
Jayson Butera, Rick Tedesco and newcomer to the PD family, the Russian progressive breaks duo of Raggapop Inc and Elevate.
Jayson Butera - Borg
In Jayson Butera’s latest progressive breaks track called “Borg”, clearly inspired by Star Trek’s antagonistic cyborg
race bent on assimilating all life forces they encounter, features the classic sound sample from the hit show. The breaks
are on point in this sampler, and are complemented by sublime melodies and spatial ambient notes that bring this
interstellar tune together.
Raggapop Inc & Elevate - Time Machine
“Time Machine” by the collaborative minds of Raggapop Inc and Elevate, is a breakbeat tune set at a slightly slower pace
than that of the others in this sampler. Cool accents evoke a feeling of what it might be like to travel through time with
the two artists. A definite chilled out break beat song to enjoy.
Rick Tedesco - Oceanside
Thirdly in our progressive breakbeat sampler, is Rick Tedesco’s “Oceanside”. A heavier track with thick bass lines that
vibrate and pulsing pads that emanate from the paper cones that make up the speakers. The perfect song to accompany one
on their trip to, at risk of sounding redundant, the ocean’s side.
