French techno veteran Dolby D has been a defining force in the scene since the 1990s. Rising from the southern French club circuit, he has signed over 300 releases across more than 130 labels, including Soma, Suara, Sleaze, Tronic, Planet Rhythm, Flash, Off Recordings, Naked Lunch, and Ben Sims’ Theory label. Collaborations with artists such as Alex Bau, Mark Broom, Joey Beltram, Klaudia Gawlas, and D.A.V.E. The Drummer have cemented his reputation as a producer whose sound combines energy, depth, and precision.
Dolby D also has his own label, Dolma Rec, a platform that has hosted luminaries like Moby, The Prodigy, Charlotte De Witte, Simina Grigoriu, Vitalic, Ben Sims, Carl Cox, Umek, Dave Clarke, Popof, and Joey Beltram. On the upcoming Trapez release, Dolby D joins forces with Vienna-based Techflex, a producer celebrated for his darker, hypnotic techno explorations and releases on labels such as Naked Lunch, Dolma Rec, and #thatechno.
Together, they present „Parabolic Arch“, a two-track single that blends Dolby D’s signature melodic and energetic techno with Techflex’s raw and hypnotic touch, resulting in a deeply immersive and compelling listening experience.
